Fall ACM Picnic

Annual CS/IT/ACM Fall Picnic

Students who should come:

All students (esp. new ones) with an interest in Computer Science (CS)
All students (esp. new ones) with an interest in Information Technology (IT)
All students majoring (or minoring) in CS or IT
All students interested in Graceland's computer club on campus, the ACM

Time and place:

Sunday, September 9, 2007, starting at 5 p.m. at the home of Jim Jones (map below).

Description:

This is an outdoor cookout at the home of Jim Jones (CS faculty). If it rains we will move inside, otherwise the cookout will be on the backyard patio with such food items as hot dogs, polish sausage, meatless alternatives, drink, veggies, chips 'n dip, drink, and desert items. Some outdoor game items will be available for those who are interested, so dress casual. The evening may include announcements by CS/IT faculty and ACM officers. This is the perfect beginning for our year together, so come to be with friends and faculty who are interested in computers and computing at Graceland University. We will provide everything, so just bring yourselves. The CSLab on campus will be closed during this time.

The location is very close to campus, an easy walk with friends. However, if you need a ride you can call the house that day (phone and address below).
